In 2019 The Howling Wind emits esoteric and isolationist extreme metal with “Shadow Tentacles”. The 5th full-length album from The Howling Wind is the first solo effort by Ryan Lipynsky [Unearthly Trance, Serpentine Path, Thralldom] and focuses on condensed short combusting songs from a disconnected realm. “Shadow Tentacles” is a parallel dimension composed of black metal ingredients which have been pulverized by experimental mechanical portals that bend time and ingest psychedelic and alchemic truths of the outer forces.
